Exactly, Vincent! It gets light from the east for part of the day, though, so it isn't full shade.

That would be just right to brighten up a shady corner Spritz, the bright blue flowers look a treat! :o)

I will have a look for this. Seems ideal. I was in the garden centre today, not one thing for shade that floated my boat.

What a shame! I've been on a shade plant hunt recently after a marathon clear-out of Lamium galeobdolon, and I've found quite a few. I also propagated some Geranium macrorrhizum, and they've started to flower happily in quite deep shade.

I like G. macro. but the smell is terrible when you handle it. I will widen my net, most garden centres around here have all the same stuff. Need some specialist nurseries.

I absolutely agree with you on the smell of the leaves, Vincent. I almost have to put a clothes peg on my nose when I touch the plants! lol.

I also have them in quite deep shade cant remember if mine is a named one.
Saw a nice white one at Harrogate flower show but bbalked at paying £5 for a 9cm pot.
