I've just planted Hosta 'White Feather' and think it's an oddity! Google images of it and see if you think it looks anaemic ... lol!

Thanks Carole :-)
Funny you should say that Shirley, daughter bought me membership to BHHS for mothers day, mainly because of my love of daylilies, never grown many hosta, have 3 or 4 but thats all, but must admit after looking at the membership pack I received they're growing on me and did spot 'White Feather' on ebay quite like it, bet it'd brighten a dull corner, didn't know they could send out different coloured leaves like this but the booklet says they can and worth seperating from the parent to see how they grow on and develope, we're clearing an area in our little wood the perfect spot for a few hosta, (seem to remember saying that about daylilies, lol), love the really huge ones 'Sum and Substance' 'Big Daddy'.

How kind of your daughter to buy you BHHS membership ... my Hostas are slowly growing in huge pots by the front door ... my Mum saw them today and said "What's wrong with that one?" when she saw 'White Feather'! Told you it looks anaemic ... lol!

We both love our huge plants don't we Dawn :-)
I did hint quite a bit Shirley, lol, she did originally buy me thorntons chocolates which were left in her bedroom and eaten by our chocolate lab, 1lb box in five minutes flat wrappers and all, luckily he's ok.

Oh no, poor you for not having the chocs before the dog found them! : o ((

Oh Kathy, our labs are so greedy. Bonnie goes through the garden and on to our 2 neighbours and gets treats. She sits in their gardens like they are her own, lol.

Aren't they just Dawn, Fudge was suffering a bit the other day with his athritis (warm weather really doesn't agree with him) so he kept sitting down kept giving him a biscuit to get him moving, amazing how he can move when foods involved, lol, anyway the next day it was cooler and he was fine but sat down in every spot I'd given him a biscuit the day before, what a memory, lol.
Fudge is the same as Bonnie, keep trying to block his gaps into the neighbours garden he scavenges round their bird table !!!!! anyone would think we don't feed them :-)

Its embarrassing Kathy, like you say, its like we starve them. Our new piece of garden is open to the neighbours and they love Bonnie visiting, she just wants treats and also snuffles around their bird tables, lol. Cupboard love or what. Her nose goes up in the air and off she goes to them and lies next to them while they are gardening and ignores me, tut. They love her, which is nice. How old is Fudge?

Lol Bonnie sounds just like Fudge, always manage to get what they want, nobody can resist.
Fudge is nearly 11 now so getting on a bit he hates the hot weather won't walk far, I take him early in a morning before it gets too warm, when he thinks he's gone far enough he just sits down till I turn round, middle of the road the other day, lol, I do tend to listen to him if we go too far he suffers badly with his leg, if the weathers cooler he'll walk miles.

Poor Fudge, he'll be suffering in this heat then. I like the way he lets you know its time to return home.
