This is a very, very well behaved Lamium. It doesn't walk about at all - it just stays in one place in the shade.

It's true, Rbt! Amazing, but different. I almost wish it would spread just a bit, but it doesn't.
It is lovely, but I have it hidden under a Kolkwitzia - I have to creep underneath to see it.

This is a new plant - as the first one doesn't walk, when I spotted another one, I thought I'd give it some company. :-)

beautifully marked but unless you get close you dont notice it do you?

No, and as I have to crawl on all fours to see the original plant, I took a photo of the new one in its pot!

I think we have this one, not much chance of a photo it is hemmed in on all sides, and like yours in the shade.

I have this, in the variety 'Silva'. I think it is stunning, subtle and invites closer inspection. I agree, it is totally well behaved and I just wish it would spread around a bit! The bees also love it, but mine showing no sign of flowering yet.

Is 'Silva' a paler colour? I haven't seen that before.

'Silva' has a silver splash to the leaf, although I can't say I have really noticed it! The flower colour is a deep raspberry pink. On GW tonight Carol was propagating this plant from basal cuttings. As my plant is quite difficult to access to divide (as I have done before) I think I might have a go at basal cuttings.

I just saw that! I won't be doing that until my plants are a lot bigger, though. She seemed to have hers in the light, not shade.
