Thanks W'lass! yes tis the season...and he's been calling for a ladyfriend for quite a while now...have seen a pair of hawks hunting today and was hoping he was well under cover.

It would be so nice to see young grouse, Freesiaperson, but he's been drumming away for weeks now...there are foxes around too, and I'm wondering if he's lost his mate and is calling for a new one!! Thanks Lindak, I've also seen hawks hunting for the last week or so... and yes, nature has her ways...
