Ok, forgive me... it is among the bromelias, so I assumed the heliconia was some kind of bromelia
You will find them again among the bormelias on the blog :)

It's absolutely beautiful!
Hate to tell you this -- this isn't a bromeliad. It's a Heliconia. Most likely Heliconia bihai or some cultivar of this species. These are Brazilian natives. It's absolutely beautiful!
My Heliconias are starting to put out flower bracts now, too. :>)
