What a lovely garden you have and those primulas are amazing. We have this one but its nowhere near as good as yours.

Thank you Motinot and Rose. I moved this clump of primulas from back garden to front about two years ago, and noticed that they have appeared back in their original spot! (and there's a lot of them) Don't know if they thrive in an acid type soil (which we have) or if they love rain (and lots of it!)

think it might be the rain they love! I think this plant is often used at the edge of a pond.
