Another sign

I certainly didn't because my mower has broken down.I'm seriously thinking about getting one of those new generation hand mowers.Saves on fuel and good exercise.

Hand mowers are not soooo new, Mcneil. I remember my Father had one when I was small ....... and the lawns we had then were small too :-)

Hi Xela by new generation I mean the ones that are ultra easy to push along.I have happy memories of using a hand mower on my grannies lawn.

Last summer Paul and I decided to pool our mowing resources ....... between us we had six machines ( including a rusted ride-on, electrically faulty hover, weak-wheeled modern rechargeable and rip-cord petrol which I rarely could start) none of which were reliable. So we replaced them with a vintage rechargeable, so old it runs on car batteries. It was love at first sight and does a better job than any of the others but it weighs a ton. It is a good work-out mowing our four lawns :-D

I would like the sign for some of the dog shows I attend, where the show ring grass has not been cut. In fact the grass left so long that dogs such as Dachshunds and Chihuahuas totally disappear in the undergrowth, and the bigger dogs need to sort of wade their way through. LOL
