More Sun Rays

Some one's enjoying the early morning sun and not too worried about the frost either :)

Lol Gee, got up at about 5.30am, Bonnie is always happy to be out in the garden.

That's early, Dawn, but then sometimes I'm not in bed before three o'clock :)

Crikey Gee, how do you stay awake so late. I would like to watch late films but by 10pm I'm shattered. Viscious circle as up early again next day.

A haunting scene Dawn , Bonnie looks as if she is tracking something down ... I don't think that I could ever get up at 5.30, even if I wake up early with the light mornings I force myself to stay in bed for as long as I can :o)

Lol Amy, work today and so much to do beforehand so got up. Bonnie is always nose down and tracking. She would send off your squirrels.

Lovely pic, I am not an early bird, OH is, I usually turn in about midnight most nights.

Lol Carol, 5.30 was unusually early for me but about 6.30am like you in the Summer.

Such a lot to sniff at and discover at that time in a morning Dawn.....its a lovely photo. I used to love getting up early when we had a larger garden and I was younger, especially when we lived on the hillside in Spain, the views were stunning then too.

When I see your garden, I think you would love the Hilliers stand at Chelsea....like me...lots of fantastic structure and colour from all their trees and shrubs. You really do have a wonderful garden DA.....opening up for NGS yet?

Being retired helps, Dawn! I always think if I am late to bed I can always take a snooze during the afternoon although I rarely do. I am up by 7am when my grandson arrives for breakfast before school. They say you need less sleep as you grow older :)

Thank you for your kind words Karen, Hilliers sounds just up my street. Just checked the exhibitor list at Gardeners Live Show at the NEC Birmingham as Im going in a couple of weeks ..... sadly they are not there :(( If ever I had the confidence to open my garden it would be 5 years in the future, things need to establish and I need to put more time in, but with work etc. not possible at the mo.

Ah, I was wondering if you worked....how on earth do you find time to work? lol :))

All my spare time goes into the garden Karen, I work around 20 hours per week. Rain all day today so I can't do alot out there, its kind of weird sitting down in the day time, but nice for a change.

Whooo Hoooo. No wind here either. Been raining here for at least twelve hours, nice and steady, perfect.

Fab! Who'd have thought it, we both got the weather we needed on the same day! lol
