That's a lovely photo, Amy. I have planted this Rambler this year ... it's climbing up one side of the arbour and is gorgeous. : o )

Lovely picture Amy, my beautiful rambler 'Bobby James' was covered in blossom would have looked a picture, the fence it grows on is beside the main road, I keep it tied to the fence to make sure it doesn't stab any passers by, went to see how it was doing today and the flippin council have been along the whole road(part of which is allotments) and chopped all the hedges with there hedge cutter thingy, including my rose not a single flower left:-( don't think they realise its my garden, they will do on Monday when they get a phone call I'm fuming.

Oh my word Simbad. I'd be fuming too, if they did that to my garden.

Kathy that is dreadful , they must surely have seen it was a garden , they really don't care do they !! let us know what they say when you complain , I think you restrained yourself very well when you used the word ' Flippin ' I bet you use a stronger one at home ....

Well I certainly feel better today, phoned up and gave them a piece of my mind, they were very apoligetic and promise it won't happen again,they didn't realise it was my garden, just as I thought, but I 've said I'll phone again next year to remind them so it really doesn't happen again.
Yes there were some very blue words flying around Amy,lol, good job I'd calmed down a bit before I phoned.
