Yes, thanks! The cornus is so beautiful, but it needs to be photographed on a cloudy day, it is just too white for the sunshine!

Is the grass improving at all Karen?

Yes, there is a sign of growth in the worst bit. However, we obviously need to do something about the drainage, so Scott is trying to source a good hole puncher. The one we had broke after three uses....rubbish cheap one from Dobbies that was welded together. Fell apart.

Yup.....;) Moral of story...don't buy 'bargain' tools!

Having seen Mossy's recent pic of sempervivums in an old log, I am now thinking I may hollow out the top of the driftwood and plant some in there!
