Great spot! lovely garden Sheilabub. I do it in my arbour. I also started to plan things when I went to bed. Dont need to count sheep, within 5 mins of thinking about the garden Im asleep (with a smile on my face according to OH!)

What a brilliant idea for getting to sleep..not that I need it...my brain usually goes dead as soon as head hits pillow! Long may that continue! I think it's all the gardening I do that helps me sleep, I'm exhausted by the end of each day! Lovely garden view Sheila. I have three seating areas in my back garden and lately I have been trying out sitting in each one for five minutes a day to just 'look' and 'be'. It's better than sitting in a room with your legs crossed any day!

Absolutely Karen - sitting on benches is essential, several times a day if possible!

This is lovely, I do like the idea of a thinking bench. I wonder if one of those would help me think - I'm not very good at it

Wish we had a group like that here..plants are so expensive!
But I do take cuttings from friends gardens now and then lol

Why not start a group with a couple of like-minded friends? Maybe put up a poster in your local GC suggesting the idea, and think up a date to all meet for coffee at the GC?? Then between you, you could agree on a regular morning to visit each other's gardens. Tricky if you're still working though. :(
