Lovely I am def going to have some of these now I know they have a long flowering season.....

Lovely flowerhead. I planted three flags of different colours last year and one survived the winter and all it has done is send up huge broad leaves. No flowers!!!

Oh Lindak, what a shame..especially as they are usually tough as old boots. The only thing they really hate is being continually wet! Well if there are lotsa leaves, that means more rhizomes and next year you could get several stalks on one plant! As long as those rhizomes can sunbathe lol!
