REally lovely. DD, I took all the buds off my dahlias. I was so proud of myself. It said to nip them off so as to get more later in the year which is when we really need the dahlias. Mine are responding well, bushing up nicely and really big plants now.

Bless you Cinders, very windy again, but we did have a generous shower.

Muddy I have supped many drink in this garden not on that bench though, too hard on the posterior.

Thanks Dawn, Karen of course they will lol....Amy is is a very bright rose, Clarice we tend to sit on the other bench as it is more comfortable....relaxing it is.

Thanks Annella, HB and Constance, really Cristina I had three roses for that, this one PS, New Dawn, and Golden Showers mind you that was about 6 years ago.....!!

they have cheaper ones as well .............. piked up mothers day patio rose 4 £ 2 50 and dance due foue climer , the same price ............ but at fryers the are bt a £10 but more grown on .......... i have golden showers and new dawn as well ...............

We tend to buy David Austin roses from our local GC they order them for us, so much cheaper than buying from their site they are reliable and very well grown too.

I agree with your choice of David Austin, Dotty. Have bought other roses (including bare root) from supermarkets, but Austin roses are so healthy and vigorous, and seem to stay that way (even in this blackspot area)
