I have this one Ba and it seems to be doing fine at the moment. Last year the mildew was so bad I had to cut it right down.

Probably when the rain came. Mine are showing pink, but not out yet. Boo hoo!

I never know what causes mildew, sometimes it's when plants are too dry at the roots, sometimes too wet. Never quite understood 8~/ I brought some l. halliana from my old garden where it thrived and was very healthy. Here it always got mildew..too dry at the roots! :-)

As you can see, it's more of a pinky blue colour. that's Rozanne next to it and corydalis flexuosa (I think) It's quite a tall one now and is a nice shape too with no sign (yet) of the mildew that plagued it last year. I will report if it recurs:-)
