There's hundreds of these orchids in the Botanical Building (which is a very large lath house) in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA. The San Diego Zoo has a huge collection of orchids growing everywhere, also.

I am a bit afraid of orchids. Everyone I know has stared with one and the next thing is fifty or more. It seems to be an addiction. But isn't gardening an addict's delight?
