Golden Hop

I love the colour of this Dawn I nearly bought one but was worried it would be to much for our garden , they do like to 'go' wherever they like don't they ?

Amy, I often get plants seeding around, I'll send you one when I find one :-) to be honest, I dont find them rampant I cut them down to ground level for the Winter and they pop up again in Spring. I like them, the only thing is, if they are close to something else, they do tend to 'grab' and twist around them. I've got one on the top garage wall, climbs the trellis and goes up on the roof a bit but as I said, dies down so not a problem.

Lovely colour Dawn, I spent yesterday cutting back and digging up that russian vine that died, made room for a few of those clematis think I've planted them up every small tree, arbour and trellis,lol.

We grow this have done for 15 years and never found it a problem, yet my brother had to get rid of his.......ours looks really tatty this year due to all the salt winds, yours looks so healthy Dawn, I love it for the splash of colour it gives us at the back of the garden.

Amy, I'll get you one. I like them alot, you can also grow them in a pot.
Dotty. In the past mine have had brown edges, maybe frost damage from wind here, they certainly light up areas :)

love this ........... we used to have it on our stable where we kept our horse , so pretty , have been looking 4 one ages ............ may have to go up the rd and pinch a bit lol
