A very tall Sweet Shade tree blooming in North Park, San Diego, CA. This tree is an extremely fragrant tree which blooms in spring. Large trees are covered with thousands of very sweet-smelling flowers. Photo taken June 7, 2011.

I agree too. Although I love our trees, as Drc says, ours are not as flamboyant as yours. :o))

This tree is not a California native. It's native to the tropical rainforest of Queensland, Australia. It's a very widely grown tree in CA, though.

I love your trees Delonix, they are much more flamboyant than our natives. Although I love our Oaks, Elms etc for their majesty.
