Closeup Geranium " Johnson Blue"

Pretty colour as well .....

They are lovely :)))

Think this is what I have,although it was shown on the packet,as a deep rose pink ! Do they only flower once in a season,as I had some a long time ago..and I expected them to flower again,but they never did..I got rid of them,as they got so big,and seemed to take over..

Sandra I think they do olnly have a short flowering period, but just love them while they are here, they are quite easy to control just cut them right down after flowering;0)

They spread and keep weeds under control which is why I tolerate them, so pretty.

Hi Carole, this is such a striking colour :-)
(I've just Googled 'Johnson's Blue' and 'Blue Sunrise' and it's 'Blue Sunrise' that has the lime green leaves, while 'Johnson's Blue' has darker green leaves).

I find that if you cut them down now you often get a second flush of flowers around September ,

That's pretty....
As the flowers die I gradually cut mine back so that as the remainder of the flowers go over, the first part of the plant has greened up again...it doesn't leave a bare gap that way...Now it's a nice mound of green, and will flower again shortly....:o))

I have lots of these in various colours but this blue is my favourite. And that is a good tip Crissue. Must remember that...
