I love this, all the leaf shapes and colours

I love how you dont need flowers here Karen, The different colours and shape of the leave's look good enough on there own, a bit like my tropical borders, and when the flowers do eventually come, well, its the icing on the cake :)

Thanks Poodle, daisy and annie. It's true, I'm not missing flowers here at the moment, although I do have that lovely red climber on the left of the window, about to flower, the heucheras are flowering too. Later there will be hosta flowers, fuchsias, malvas and nasturtiums..oh and Cosmos too. Hopefully it will be colourful and even more lush!

Have you got your Malvas in pots Karen?

I have three in a row in a wide terra planter Annie. This kind grows fairly upright, so they should be ok, they are certainly growing well at the moment. How is yours doing? Any flowers yet? The ones I planted out in the ground are not doing as well for some reason, much slower to grow. Perhaps its the compost in the planter.

No flowers yet but looking healthy. It's still in a pot at the mo.

Good....hope they will give us lots of late colour!
