Pond with rockery

When the pond was dug, and after filling it, David created this rockery so that we could have a 'stream' flowing from the top of it. We don't have it running all the time, but it helps to freshen up the water now and again.

Just what my next door neighbour says Sheilar -about the loo...we keep our pump as low as possible. :))

Its so nice to hear the gentle sound of water when your relaxing and your pond looks very well constructed.

Couldn't agree more...Ours is just a wee thing, and I love to sit first thing in the morning on a cushion on the doorstep with mug of T in hand just watching the water..and the fish too if they're about....contentment:

I always think the sound and sight of running water makes you feel peaceful (makes you need the loo too!)
