Breakfast...! A Tiger Swallowtail stopped for nectar!

This pretty swallowtail just dropped in...spent some time with the irises and continued on his/her way.

Hi Irish..Usually the only butterfly I see is the Monarch.....so far I've had this tiger Swallowtail, the little eightspotted Forester moth, and the Azure blue butterfly...and last year I would have said ...oh pretty butterfly...and carried on...this year I can greet them by their names...thanks to goY and members like Diohio...I'm really enjoying all aspects of the garden this year.

beautiful arnt they. ive tried to put in as much plants and flowers that will attract butterflies and bees this yr

Beautiful - we used to see Swallowtails in UK not seen since childhood.
