Aristea ecklonii

meanie

By Meanie

Aristea ecklonii (Aristea ecklonii)

Bought from Pentewan Valley Nurseries, Cornwall.
I'd seen it earlier in the day in the Jungle at Heligan gardens and then bumped into it at the first place we went to after!

That was a stroke of luck usually if you are looking for something you can never find it ! it's a very dainty little flower ......

Right result as they say!
I took a few photos in the Jungle to get an id so that I could track one down, but as luck would have it.......

This is sooo dainty. Dont remember seeing it Meanie. Irresistible when it falls in your lap isnt it!!

Too good to say no to really Tet. There is too much in the Jungle alone to take in.

Heligan is wonderful and the Jungle is the best bit of all! What a stroke of luck finding this, isn't it just delicious!

I loved the place, but have to agree that the Jungle is the highlight.

Plantaholic - Ours certainly did!
Next time you go down there check out Hill House Nursery (about 16 miles south of Exeter racecourse).......

Prices in person are very different to the web prices too (in the right direction). It's an absolute gem!

Passiflora antioquensis £7

That is very good indeed, defiantly add it to my list :)

It's a delightful place - stuffed full of mature plants that are not for sale, but give you an idea of what is possible.
I've been wanting a Plectranthus, but had to pass them up at only a fiver as they were just too big!
