Rosa 'Benjamin Britten'

I had this in my old garden and I added it here this year. Britten is one of my favourite composers and this rose has such an unusual colour. Its also one of the ones that DA recommends for growing in a pot, and it will take some shade.

It's a really wacky colour Cinders! It starts off like this...deep dark tangerine with yellow, but as it ages it gets purply tints ....amazing really, I love it. It has a lovely scent too of course! I wasn't going to have it here because the colour is difficult to blend...but then I thought, why not have it in a pot this time? And so I did! :))
