With help from Andrewr and Bamboo, I have been able to put a name to this clematis. Thanks everyone for their help x

I've got this one Scottish, lovely isn't it? Mine is very 'twiggy' at the base but always puts on a good display of flowers.

Have just seen this Scottish....Have had Ville de Lyon for 11 years...bought as a present for OH and I...it has gone through several cutbacks, and moves, and is just now sending new shoots all over in it's latest position....:))) very tolerant Clem and pretty tooo...
