I'm waiting in hope to see a flower or two on a new Clem, too, Tetra. Nothing so far. As you say - maybe next year.

Im hoping for clematis customers tomorrow and Sunday, I must sell some..they are getting too big. Guess I will have to try more cuttings! Got no problems with the montanas, but the hybrids seem more reluctant.

I need lessons on propagating clems, Tetra. I've only managed to layer one so far! :-(

Yes, me too...inter-nodal cuttings, all that stuff, but do they grow roots? Nope. :-((
