Dianthus alpinus


Dianthus alpinus  (Dianthus alpinus (Alpine Pink))

it is a perennial but must have good drainage or it will be short lived. I was looking for something on the www and found out why dianthus are called pinks. You would be forgiven for thinking it is because they are pink. It is because the flower petals look as if they had been edged by pinking scissors
