I bought it from 'Special Plants' nursery near Bath....a bit far from Norfolk. They do have some very usnusual plants...when I first went in a few weeks ago, I thought I had died and gone to heaven!!

LuLu ,Right it is South African grown as an annual in GB i found it retailing at £3.00.
It is apparently easy from cuttings taking the new tips now (July) if there is a bud take it out they can be overwintered in the kitchen. So we will expect to see it in your garden in 2012.

thanks bjs.....will give that a go! Absalutely no windowsill space in our cottage and also it gets far too hot. The bosses greenhouse, well the thermostat was put under the workbenches so the heat cuts off without really keeping the area at 5 degrees. I must find some way of overwintering, all those beautiful salvias!!
