Hostas

Sorry just found these pics....Just love Hostas...yes they look superb...I expect someone is on Slug patrol, and they have spares too....:o))

Ah, hadn't thought about the spares Crissue, of course they would have backups. Mine seem to be doing better this year and I'd like to think the penny coins have been a slug deterrent. I also read recently that corks are a good thing to put on top of the pots because slugs don't like things that move - how would anyone know that? Nevertheless I'm trying it.

I had to laugh at that...maybe a cork got mislaid in the Hostas after a couple of bottles of Vino one night, and the hostas stayed safe...these remedies happen quite by accident at times...don't they...Have tried everything..I use coated pellets, only interesting to the slug and snail....

Looks a bit like my pond, I like the hostas around the pond like that.
