The musk mallow just came, as did the alstroemeria. I have weeded out any musk mallow which raised its head for years as they all had rust, introduced from a cultivated mallow I had bought from a yellowbook garden years ago. This year I noticed no rust...yippee! Possibly different strain come in from new topsoil after makeover:-)

Happy Birthday Pixi:-)) The musk mallows will have to move Sticki as they're in totally the wrong place. I have a beautiful rose Fragrant Delight sitting near in its pot from Apuldram Roses (great quality, reasonable price) to go where they are. They do seed everywhere too, but so lovely and the bees go mad for them. Thanks Sixpence, Sticki and Pixi:-)

Happy b/day? lol my b/day is on Christmas day!

Ooops! When Sticki said "is it your Birthday?" I thought you said yes;-)
I had an egg laid on Christmas day by a silkie I had years ago. It was her first egg...and I didn't have a cockerel !:-)

lolol! No I was agreeing with her that it looked like a bouquet haha! Wow the immaculate conception?
Well actually if Mum had gone with rest of family(they got stuck in snow and had to wait in a barn(stable) till Dad walked to the farm to get my uncle and his tractor to get them out!) I would have been born in a stable! LOL! True!

Thanks Whdebor and Rose. I put arts pride in last year after makeover. It was nowhere near this size then, I just love its colour:-)

I love these Echys...Rather expensive to buy aren 't they....Love the Alstromerias too...:>)

Hi Motinot, I can't remember where I bought it now, it was definitely mail order and very small, and the alstroemeria was off Ebay so neither was very dear. I wonder if I could split it next year?:-)
