It's a double! I was lucky since daylilies can revert to a single the first year they are divided. This was mis-labled as Jerry Pate Williams, but the seller caught his mistake.

Thanks. You'll notice on the tip of the stamen is a dab of pollen from "Red Volunteer", so in a couple of years I'll have a new flower.

See what you mean Wylie much darker than pictures I've seen, we'll have to compare next year, if mine flowers then it is quite a small plant but you never know :-))
