Gold Medallion Tree (Cassia leptophylla) and Pink Crepe Myrtle (Lagerstroemia indica)

Both of these tree are commonly planted as street, landscape trees here in San Diego, CA. Photo taken in my neighborhood on July 21, 2011.

Yes, the many colors of Crepe Myrtles (pink, red, white flowers) go with the Golden Medallion tree's flowers.

yes a bit like the laburnocytisus pink/yellow flowers are a nice companion :-)

I especially like the red and white varieties of Crepe Myrtle.
