This plant may possibly make it through the winter - I'll have to hope. I've planted three around Rosa 'Hot Chocolate'.

and me...:o)

I did ask about its hardiness - I was told that they'd survived last winter, so I'll wait and see. The colour was the main attraction! ;-))

The colour is stunning and so love the name Spritz

That will be a fantastic combo! I do hope it makes it. Mine survived well in the greenhouse, and it was very cold in there!

Fingers crossed for you, they survive the winter.

I kept mine going last year in the green house Barbara, love the colour mines more brown than yours, shall post a picture later...

I don't think I'll be digging them up - the greenhouse gets ftb as it is! They'll have to take their chance. :-(
I'll look for your pic.

Thanks. :-)))

My Cherry Brandys are doing well too, but guess they wont survive the winter. They are a little "browner" than the picture suggests tho.

One of the three I bought is really tawny! :-)

I lost several of these last winter, so good luck B.

Oh, I shall need it, Dd. I'm not really expecting them to survive, but they look great for the moment. :-)

So enjoy, I did not realize they were tender......

Lots of Rudbeckias are indeed hardy, but not all sadly. I am enjoying them for the moment, I can assure you! :-D)

Were these grown from seeds Spritzhenry, or as a plant.I'm hoping its a plant....useless at growing things from seed :o(

They were plants, Gralew, but sadly, I haven't found any this year. I did love them! I think I might try them from seed next year.
29 Sep, 2012
Oh dear, what were they called, found others but not as nice as yours. Perhaps I'll have another go with seeds if you let me know their name:-(
30 Sep, 2012
I haven't tracked them down yet - I'll let you know when I do.
