Lovely colour . . . . .

Nearly bought one of these the other day, they had them in blue and in white, but the shop keeper didn't know what it was or anything about it - clever eh? Is it hardy, can you put it in the garden or do you leave it in a pot?

That is something I would like to know as well Sheila, the lady I bought it from said some of hers didnt make it through the winter, so this time she is putting them in the greenhouse to overwinter, so I am thinking I will put mine in a larger pot and do the same.

Cinders, I've looked this up in my RHS encyclopedia which says it is fully hardy, needs sun and light, and sandy soil! Thought you might be interested:)

Thats kind of you Sheila thank you. Nice to know. I think I may still put it in a pot, for the simple reason that I havent got a space for it really, then I can move it if the weather gets bad.

They were being sold in a greengrocers near where I work for £1.25. Of course they're only in a small pot but at that price I could afford to get a blue one and a white one!!!

Mine is in the border and has survived every year ...its about 6 yrs old....:>)
