Bat Flower emerging (Tacca chantrieri (Bat Flower))

It progresses slowly and is starting to darken up nicely too (which makes photographing it harder!).

It likes bright but not direct light Sticki - in the wild it grows on the forest floor. Likes warmth whilst in growth, but is reputed to take short snaps down to minus 3c.
I can't help but love it SL!

See who else is growing Tacca chantrieri (Bat Flower).

See who else has plants in genus Tacca.
