I think it is called a willow herb, don't know the latin name. Considered a weed by most. It will self seed everywhere is you are not careful.

Rosebay willow herb, or fireweed as we call it here. We have meadows of it, you can eat the new shoots like asparagus but tipped red, but its growth is very hard to keep under control.

The flowers are certainly attractive, but it's an invasive weed around here..........
