I like the kind of plants that don't mind being moved, Karensusan! It won't be staying their either but it is safe for now!!
I liked the blend too Karen. That is a very large clump of Crocosmia destined for the bin, I get rid of some of it every week in the wheelie bin!! The clump is around 10ft long and 5ft wide - half of it gone already :)

Bet you are Karen!
Inherited it in this garden...I think every neighbour has it in theirs too!!!!
Can't leave Weigela where it is Crissue, I want to put my little tool shed behind the fence at the side gate....make room for some more plants in the back garden. It's a win win situation :))))
Will keep a couple of wee bits and keep on top of it!

Glad you agree Crissue :)
Yes, Terra it is doing ok. It didn't flower though but that was because I pruned it to shape it up a bit too late.
I think these plants are toughies, another has been moved just as much and hasn't batted an eye!!

I've got this variety in a tub. I decided NOT to put it in the garden as I've already got two (different varieties) and they're absolutely huge. It seems quite happy in it's pot, been in there about ten years.

How tall is it Sheila? This seems to be growing outwards but not up...which is why I havent put it anywhere permanent yet. I had expected it to get taller like my other ones - but it hasn't.

It's remained small in the pot - pnly about 2' high. It gets flowers on it but not as many as the ones in the garden. It's been in the same pot now for about five years. Dunno if this helps you at all!

Thanks Sheila....It doesn't look like it is going to get too tall, will need to investigate a bit more before I find it's final place

Funny how we do that with some plants isn't it. My Sambucus Nigra has been in three places, and yet it doesn't seem to mind much!
