Thankyou Ufty53 I so love my seaonal raised bed its better in spring as its full of spring bulbs and aricula.

I will replant with winter pansy for the Autumn unless anyone can suggest something different.

Your acer is doing well Kath :-)..I think viola would look nice in that bed..they flower better over the winter than pansies. I had a pot full that I planted last year in October and didn't pull them out until the end of June this year!!

Yes Amblealice acer colours now are changing so much .

Hope it stays this dwarf size .
