Wonderful smell. They always remind me of my Grandfathers Dianthus and rose beds.

Yeah I find lots of flowers remind me of grannies aunties etc..My Dad used to do a few old ladies' gardens to make extra money and I aways went with him to potter about..if i close my eyes I can see the gardens and smell the flowers..and the musty old sunhouses etc..nice isnt it?

It is nice. I went back to my grandparents old house and garden the other week, cried like anything!! or did I tell you that already!!
Woodpidgeon cooing always take me straight back there too.
In my bedroom there was a chest of drawers....the bottom drawer was full of spices, mace, nutmeg, vanilla etc, I loved it. The middle drawer was full of the most wonderful old xmas cards, loved that too!

I don't think they like good rich soil,Pixi..so that's where I probably went wrong..never mind..there are lots more plants I like,that do ..:o)I can't be spreading my compost around,and just leaving one bit for them,can I ? That would be favouritism ! Lol.
