Miracle Pansie!

This little Pansie has been growing in a hanging basket that used to house a variegated English ivy that died last year. The soil had been prepped with compost, paramagnetic rock powders, and sugars prior to it's transplanting.
Today, August the 15th, broke the all-time record for days above 100 deg. F here in Waco, TX and this little Pansy is STILL ALIVE! Struggling, but still showing some vibrant new green growth.
This breaks last year's pansy "test plant" by TWO months! I have never had one survive into late August and still be viable for the next fall season.
How awesome!

It IS in the shade Crissue!
Unfortunately, the shade today was 109 deg. F
The little trooper is still hanging in there tonight.
