Every flower he does this to falls off before it's finished!

Me neither, Pixi...but these are solitary bees...
They are too big to get into most of my flowers, so they're not doing much pollination...
...and when they can't get in, they just break and enter...then the flower falls off......thugs!!!

i had something similar but on my honeysuckle Serotina ... in the end all the buds fell off....

Am still considering my options, girls...
Did you opt for elimination of the 'thug', Surreylad...I know it's late in the season, but I don't want to lose the flowers 'til it's time for them to go...

i'm sorry to say that i had him Terminated !! it was just doing so much damage, i don't normally like doing that sort of thing..

It started at the end of Feb, SL, really really early...and since then it either been roasting or raining...very strange weather this year...
The plants don't know whether they're coming or going!lol!
