I can smell the perfume from here. I love roses but they hate my garden.

Why's that? Is the soil or aspect wrong for them?

No, in all parts of the garden they suffered from black spot and I hate using sprays on them because it kills insects as well. I expect if I bought disease resistant roses I wouldn't get that problem.

There are quite a lot about now. Maybe you could try again? I don't like spraying plants either.
