I found a tip in t'internet....spritzing the leaves with miracle grow. It's supposed to make the thicker and tougher thus making them less attractive to slugs and snails. I have been doing this and they all look great except for 1.

i bought some lilies at a show recently and i was so afraid that the slugs would get them i have put their pot inside a pot of grit salt [the salt cant get to the lily] ~ its worked!!!
