Muscat d'Alexandrie (vitis vinifera Muscat d'Alexandrie)

Only two little bunches, but only in its first year...
...and not supposed to be harvested until October!

Thank you W and M :))
Vines tend to grow like weeds here! It's difficult to get it wrong! lol! This a north African variety planted in full sun...and, strangely, not targeted by wasps which is what usually happens to my vines...

...guess what, Marshmallow...they're ready already!

One bunch eaten...sweet and delicious!!! :))))

Thank you, C! In the last six years, it's the first bunch of grapes I've managed to get to before the wasps! :))

They are, Pixi! Usually we just have wine grape vines from the market...but this time, I pushed the boat out...and it was worth it!!!

And, hopefully, Camil (with all his years of French knowledge) will know exactly how it should be pruned, to get a nice thick gnarled trunk and lots more fruit!

Oh yes! Camil! Your garden should be in good hands! :)
Should be able to make some wine then!

What else?

See who else is growing vitis vinifera Muscat d'Alexandrie.

See who else has plants in genus Vitis.

This photo is of "table grape" in Karenfrance's garden
