Lovely Amy, love eupatorium, I found one at a nursery the other week(eupatorium rugosum 'chocolate') with dark foliage no flowers this year but can't wait till next :-)

Thanks Carol/ Crissue , Kathy the chocolate sound lovely with the dark leaves , this was new to me this year so I'm pleased to see flowers , I'm not sure if these buds will 'open' or not it will be interesting to see ...

Yes Dawn I was slightly worried about our dry conditions it seems o.k so far ,I like big plants at the back of the border , I will post a pic. if and when it opens Crissue :o)
