must be a good year for the pea family as we had masses of garden peas to eat and the flowering sweet peas are the best I've ever had them and they are still flowering well.

Hi Joy!
I'm not sure what I'm doing, as I'm new to gardening, but I'd appreciate any advice you can give me on sweetpeas.
I've sown some in pots (about 7 or 8 days ago) & would have planted them out, except for this terrible weather. Lol.
They sprouted a 2nd set of leaves, yesterday & other goy members said they were too leggy (10 of the 14 over 8" tall) so I nipped off the top leaves & again on advice potted them on.
Have I done the right thing?
Thanks for anything you can suggest!

wow these look amazing are they in a pot?
I live in an apartment with concrete patio and every time I plant sweet peas in a pot they start to dry from the bottom by the time they begin to flower and this is the second time that's happened thinking I might have done something wrong but still don't know what, I feed them miracle grow could that be the reason?
