I'm assuming from the name that this is the correct time for them to bloom?
I ask as my E.autumnalis were the first of mine to bloom!

Thanks all, M. this one was in the garden all winter and is growing in almost full shade, the same plant in a sunny spot was out about 5 weeks ago, I plant some in the shade to extend the flowering period, they seem to cope ok with this, have some still in bud.

does this start as seed or a bulb?

It starts as a seed Sticky, it forms a corm fairly quickly but they take a few years to flower, but they are worth the wait! :o)
