Plumeria rubra light pink

This is what my Plumeria is going to look like in......about 10 years!?!?!

I think it'll taken more than 10 years. This tree is growing in Honolulu, Hawai'i...and I think this tree is a lot older than 10 years. :>)

Im beginning to think that I will never be lucky enough to see a bloom for myself.....Lol

Hee hee hee....I was hoping you would say this was around 10 years old.
I've always wanted to visit Hawaii!!! One day I will. Half the trees will be missing branches by the time I leave...;o))))

You'd be lucky to get the branches out of Hawai'i...it's extremely difficult getting any plants out of the islands...and the agricultural dept checks bags (very thoroughly) before you get into the airport. It used to be worse years ago...they used to make you remove practically all your clothes from the suitcase (it was horrible!).

Oh...that's no fun.

By the way, my cousin (the one who gave me the Plumeria cutting) saw my Plumeria seedlings and fell in love....
We have ordered another 15 seeds....she took some with her to London and I'm growing the rest here, this way she can have a few Plumeria trees here. I'm going to sow the seeds the same day as her and see how much faster mine germinate. This should be fun.

Do you think I should re-pot my seedlings before I bring them in for winter or wait until spring?

Sounds like a plumeria growing competition.

My suggestion: I would leave the plumeria seedlings in the same pots until next spring. Plumerias have relatively small root systems.

Yes, I'm pretty sure my seeds will germinate real fast. ;o)

Most plumeria species seeds germinate very quickly in hot weather.
