Ah! Bless her.....Hello Lucy!

She's so lovely, isn't she just....

Yes, she certainly is. Our Fluffy is 20years in cat years which makes her 90 something in human years. we also had her sister from the same litter, but we lost her about 2 years ago. Its surprising how you miss them once they are gone. How old is Lucy?

90 something! Wow wow wow. Impressive.
Sorry to hear about Fluffy's sister. I know how you feel..
I don't know Lucy's age, because she came with the house; her ex-owner left her, although he had said he would pick her up one day. Instead, he got himself a puppy and carried it in a sling! It was a bit weird, an old man carrying the little dog around his chest like accessory. We thought "what a cruel (and stupid) man!" but it was a good thing in the end, because we Love Lucy very much and can't think of our life without her :-)

I really don't understand how people can do that Tommy, we have had a couple of stray cats thats turned up in past years, one was a lovely black and white cat and we did everything we could to see if we could find its owners we even went to a couple of vets to see if anyone had reported him missing, ...but no luck so in the end we said to the vet that we would look after him and if anyone enquired about him , would they give them our address, but no one ever did. In the end we had him about 10 years, I think theres a photo amongst mine somewhere. We named him Whiskey, theres also photos of Susie...fluffys sister.... They were very much alike .What do you think of the lovely spell of weather we're having at the moment, hope it lasts a bit longer, that'll save on the ol' heating wont it? We have been quite lucky really in our region havent we, other places have had a lot of rain etc. Just hope it lasts a bit longer yet!!

It's really sad; some people have no sense of responsibility or no attachment for their pets. Your Whiskey is lucky to have a loving owner like you!
As you said, it's been mild and dry around here. We just can't complain! I hope it will continue like this, really, but we don't know what the coming winter is like. Ohh I don't like shivering cold winter.. Speaking of weather, this planet has gone mad lately. The recent flood in Thailand, big earthquakes everywhere etc. My brother has been in New Jersey since September and poor him has been attacked by the terrible weather there twice already: firstly by the awful hurricane and secondly by the recent heavy snow. We should appreciate the lovely weather here, shouldn't we Lin :-)
