Gale force winds here Lil! I spent the afternoon painting the trellis and chasing the washing around the garden :)

Stunning Photo Lil, I used to live in Ottawa spent fab weekends going to the lakes to visit our neighbours log cabins. Such good memories. On my bucket list to visit again and bring my hubby with me to see what a beautiful country Canada is!

Haveyou tried acrylics Lil?

No Pixi, think that is well beyond my talents!! With the watercolours the mistakes are often the best part I find. Only downside is I can't seem to produce 'darkness' if that makes sense. Seems to work best when light and airy.

Acrylics are easier to use actually! and darkness will come! did you mean for the flowers? jsut use less water..mix paynes grey and maybe a little blue tog. very little water!

or paint the flowers in with acrylic!

hmmmmm, tried again today. I may post it tomorrow for you to have a look at. Can't seem to get the sky right. Think I'll stick to watercolours and mosaics right now :)
