This stall isn't a professional grower, Sticki...anyone can take their surplus or hobbies or whatever along...

Well then, you're just not trying hard enough :)

I know, Lil...but they would have sent for the Fire Brigade...and it would have been embarrassing... :))

D'you know, J...I never did! Probably because of out of control Pampas! But now, I'm getting to rather like them...

Love them, I think bc they provide such great winter interest. Not that you have to worry about that :)

karen would you recommend your town/area as a nice place to visit in france? or where would you say is a good place to stay?
out of choice it would be nice to be near the sea and near a village with boulangerie!?
i have only travelled through france, never stayed.

Well, Sticki...it is a matter of choice...we do have lots of tourists, in the summer. But, where I live is about 30 years behind the UK...in it's way...
Try googling 'Aubeterre'...we're close (but not too much!) to the coast, St. Emilion, the Gorges...
...and out of season, we're just a farming community... who speak the French equivalent of 'OooArrr!' :)
I really do love living here...

12 Sep, 2011
FIVE YEARS? I'm sorry Karen's OH, but a balcony just won't cut the mustard.....she could create Lagos Botanic Gardens in that time!!
